Polycom’s POLYAL laminates are composites of co-polymer film coated on either side of Aluminium foil. The lamination is done by “Fusion processes”
The 200 MIC Aluminium foil of AA 1100 Alloy having 99% putty & fully annealed is laminated with 50 MIC copolymer film on either side by a fusion Lamination process.
Advantage
- Moisture barrier, resistance to chemical oxidization & corrosion
- Protection against outside interference as a screen
- Non Magnetic property
- High bond strength.
Availability
The most commonly used & D.O.T. (India) approved thickness of Aluminium is 200 MIC, composites can also be made of 100 MIC or 150 MIC of Aluminium on request. 2 Layer Composites are also available on request.
